Our mission is to empower seniors with the knowledge, resources, and support they need to navigate aging with confidence and security. A key focus is fraud prevention, helping seniors recognize and avoid scams such as Medicare fraud, identity theft, and phone scams. Through workshops, seminars, and our Fraud Watch Hotline, we provide practical guidance to protect seniors and offer immediate assistance when concerns arise.
Beyond education, we provide one-on-one support and advocacy for Medicare enrollment, insurance policies, and medical billing. Our advocates assist seniors in understanding complex processes, making phone calls, and organizing documents. For homebound seniors, we coordinate home visits with healthcare providers and community groups, ensuring they receive essential assistance with mail, telehealth appointments, and medical follow-ups.
Recognizing the importance of digital literacy, our Tech Mentor Program trains seniors to use smartphones, telehealth portals, and social media safely. Through small-group workshops, we teach video calling, secure browsing, and recognizing online scams, helping seniors gain confidence while reducing their vulnerability to cyber threats.
We also foster community and peer support, organizing regular gatherings where seniors can connect, share experiences, and learn about topics like fraud prevention, caregiving, and healthcare innovations. Our peer mentorship program encourages trained seniors to support others, creating a sustainable network that combats isolation.
Through strategic partnerships, we collaborate with healthcare providers, local governments, and advocacy groups to expand access to quality care, provide input on senior-focused policies, and secure grants that enhance fraud prevention and digital inclusion.
To measure our impact, we track participation in workshops, one-on-one coaching, and community programs. By gathering feedback and monitoring fraud prevention success rates, we continuously adapt our initiatives to meet evolving needs, ensuring seniors stay informed, protected, and connected. At our core, we are committed to empowering seniors with knowledge, advocacy, and lasting support for a healthier and more independent life.
We are promoting the "What Do You See When You See Me Competition" to honor seniors, caregivers who perform their responsibilities and then some with excellence, and those caregivers who have recently lost their jobs due to economic changes. The aim is to fund essential support services, fostering a spirit of mutual care.
By supporting us, you support yourself. No one truly knows what tomorrow will bring, but change is inevitable. Together, we can ensure our seniors—who are too often overlooked—don’t become an endangered population. When caring for our seniors, every effort—big or small—deserves to be celebrated. If you or someone you know has been making a difference in the lives of older adults, this is your chance to step forward and shine.
Why Nominate?
Because these are challenging times, and many dedicated workers have lost their jobs or seen their support systems dismantled. By nominating yourself or a colleague, you’re helping raise funds to rebuild that vital support network—a network that offers personalized, one-on-one assistance, community gatherings, and essential resources to those who care for seniors.
Where Does the Money Go?
All proceeds will be dedicated to aiding those in senior care who’ve experienced sudden changes in employment or lost critical resources. This is about more than just financial relief—it’s about restoring confidence, boosting morale, and reigniting the passion to serve.
We Must Look Out for One Another
Healthcare, assisted living, senior advocacy—these missions thrive on collaboration. We’ve shared a model that ensures fraud prevention, in-person support, technology training, and peer-to-peer connections for our aging community. Now it’s time to turn those ideas into action by rallying around our caregivers.
Step Up and Take the Spotlight
You (or the colleague you admire) deserve recognition for the compassion, dedication, and innovation you bring to seniors. Nominate yourself or someone else who’s gone above and beyond to bridge the gaps in service. Let’s give credit where credit is due and keep the momentum going—because when you help caregivers, you help seniors, families, and entire communities.
