At Collaborative Expansion Foundation, we are deeply committed to enhancing the quality of life for underserved seniors throughout Southern California. As a tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we strive to address the most pressing needs of this often-overlooked population by providing comprehensive support across four key pillars of service. Through these pillars, we deliver a holistic approach that encompasses essential resources, educational opportunities, health and wellness initiatives, and community engagement programs. Our mission is rooted in the belief that every senior deserves dignity, access to vital services, and the opportunity to remain active, connected, and empowered within their communities. By combining compassion with strategic action, we work tirelessly to create meaningful, lasting impact, ensuring that our seniors not only have their immediate needs met but also the support to thrive socially, physically, and emotionally.
Spark the Mind : Senior Education Workshops
Free workshops will help seniors understand Medicare enrollment, Social Security benefits, fraud prevention, financial literacy, and long-term care planning. Participants will receive printed resource guides to help them make informed decisions and share information with their families.
Nourish the People : Senior Meal Program
Food Boxes will be provided to seniors attending events as well as homebound seniors who cannot travel. Food will be sourced through local food vendors and nonprofit food partners to ensure that no senior seeking help must face hunger.
Shape the Future : Community Connection Events
Community gatherings will bring seniors together in welcoming environments where they can build friendships, connect with local resources, and reduce the isolation that so often affects older adults.
Throughout the month of April, the Collaborative Expansion Foundation is actively seeking immediate funding to secure locations and transportation for food box distribution and senior-focused educational seminars across Southern California. We serve seniors in communities where rising costs, isolation, and lack of access to trusted resources create hidden food insecurity. Target service areas include: Torrance, Carson, La Habra, Compton, South Gate, Paramount, Downey, Pico Rivera, Norwalk, North Long Beach, Lakewood, Signal Hill, Panorama City, Van Nuys, Pacoima, North Hollywood, San Bernardino, Rialto, Fontana, Moreno Valley, Santa Ana, Anaheim, Garden Grove, Westminster, and Buena Park.
At our organization, we are committed to helping seniors, caregivers, and families make confident, informed decisions about healthcare and long-term planning.
Understanding health plans can be confusing. Our goal is to simplify the process by providing straightforward education on available coverage options, including Medicare plans, benefits, and costs, helping you choose what best fits your needs.
We are proud to partner with Secure65HealthPlans to provide seniors and their families with trusted guidance on Medicare and senior health plan options.
While our organization focuses on education and community support, Secure65HealthPlans offers additional assistance by helping individuals better understand their available coverage and benefits.
We believe support goes beyond healthcare. That’s why we help connect individuals and families with local food assistance programs.
